Ann Fleming’s Leinster School of Floristry

The School of Floristry was founded in 1990 by Ann Fleming of Fleming Florist.

Ann trained in the College of Marketing and Design in Dublin and the Marjorie Lunn School Of Floristry in London. She did design courses with the European School of Floristry in Pershore Horticultural College, England and the Interflora School in Sleaford.

Ann opened her first flower shop in Dublin in 1978. Her second shop opened in 1985. The Naas Interflora shop opened in 1989 and is now run by her daughter Anne.

Ann now runs her floristry school in Kill, Co. Kildare. The school offers floristry courses for beginners or people who are interested in floristry as a hobby or career as well as courses for the more experienced florist who would like to update their skills.

Courses run over three days and lunch is provided. Certificates are awarded on successful completion.

There are excellent bed & breakfasts within walking distance of the school and numerous hotels in nearby Naas. Pick-up/drop-off at local train stations can be arranged.
